How do I format a Data Type Text?
Please help.

In the database users are stored as "Distinguished Names".
Something like (very simplified):

/ldap/o=Sample Organization/ou=User/cn=Miller
/unix/o=Sample Organization/ou=User/cn=Lake

I need to format them that they look like this:

ldap-Miller
unix-Lake

Where can I place the hooks for presentation and search?

When I modify the Properties->Data->Format it will be ignored.

regards
