I hope this is in the right forum. Moving along quite weill now with this guy, so this is a quick question.
I have made some changes to my DB (a few tables, drop/edit columns). When I build and run I get errors (of course). I assumed that CCS would synx with the DB on project load - my bad.
So how can I tell CCS to refresh (sync) with the DB? I hope I don't have to delete then recreate the connection.
So I'm thinking I'm not seeing a button or choice somewhere.
Thanks everyone.

bad news, CCS will not sync and generate on the fly new columns or drop deleted ones.
you have to manually add new ones and delete missing ones.

Yeah I was kinda afraid of that. I thought right-clicking on the connection and selecting Refresh would do it - but not.
So what does that "Feature" do exaclty?
Thanks for the reply.

If you have your CCS project open, then make changes to your db, then by clicking Refresh on the connection will force CCS to update its connection with your db.
It won't automatically update your code though!
I always do a connection refresh after making changes to my database. Sometimes CCS has already seen the changes, sometimes not so it's a good thing to do to cover all bases.
Otherwise, you'll have to keep a note of the db changes and then go and update your code accordingly.
