I have some vbscript (asp pages) that will read an MS SQL table and retrun the column names, that's good. I also have a script that will import excel into an array, that's good.
How do I present the array on a page (I'm still new, but assume one has to use a blank page). But I'm not sure how one would present the array on the page in a drop down list by each folumn title.
For example:
[Column Name] [Array]
[Firstname] [arrayelement(x)] in a drop down list,
[Lastname] [arrayelement(x)] in a drop down list,
Now I also need to remove the element that is selected from the array so as not to have it applied to a second colun. So if a user were to select FirstName from the array list, then that needs to be removed from the list and when the user moves to another field (Lastname) it would no be displayed.
Hope this is clear.
Thanks all

I don't fully understand the effect you want to achieve, but is it anything like this example http://examples.codecharge.com/ExamplePack/ManyToManyLi...nyListboxes.php ?
That presents items from a table in a list box and allows you to remove them by code.
If so, there are goodish notes from codecharge on how to build this page. In fact you can download the example pack with page ready-built. At the very least, it might point you in the right direction.
There are some other presentation examples here, if you haven't seen them yet: http://examples.codecharge.com/

Most excellent, that is exactly what I was looking for. I had/have everything working and can remove and add to a list, but these examples are far easier.
Thanks very much.
