I'm trying to run a web app that was built using CodeCharge by a previous developer. When I run the app, I get the following exception.
java.lang.ClassCastException: org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext
com.codecharge.db.DataSourceJDBCConnection.getConnection(DataSourceJDBCConnection.java:29)
com.codecharge.db.JDBCConnection.<init>(JDBCConnection.java:85)
com.codecharge.db.DataSourceJDBCConnection.<init>(DataSourceJDBCConnection.java:18)
com.codecharge.db.JDBCConnectionFactory.getJDBCConnection(JDBCConnectionFactory.java:38)
com.codecharge.db.JDBCConnectionFactory.getJDBCConnection(JDBCConnectionFactory.java:27)
Customers.EditableGridCustDataObject.load(EditableGridCustDataObject.java:170)
Customers.CustomersAction$EditableGridCustClass.read(CustomersAction.java:114)
Customers.CustomersAction$EditableGridCustClass.perform(CustomersAction.java:149)
Customers.CustomersAction.perform(CustomersAction.java:59)
com.codecharge.ControllerServlet.service(ControllerServlet.java:109)
javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:810)
jcifs.http.NtlmHttpFilter.doFilter(NtlmHttpFilter.java:125)
org.jboss.web.tomcat.filters.ReplyHeaderFilter.doFilter(ReplyHeaderFilter.java:81)
I've opened up the code to look at the exact call in my code that's causing the error. Here it is.
JDBCConnection ds = JDBCConnectionFactory.getJDBCConnection( "Application" );
I've looked at the 'Application' connection and confirmed that it's set up correctly and the "Test Connection" test succeeded.
What am I missing?
I am using CodeCharge 4.2, SQL Server 2005, and Jboss 4.0.2.
