:(

Hi all.

When im working with a record builder or editable grid builder, i would like to receive a message when an action is done. For example, after a row is deleted , i want to receive a message that say: "you have deleted 1 row"...

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance

Sergio

You could insert an attribute somewhere on the Return Page (the page you go to after the deletion). Set the source to URL and give it a name like 'message'. Perhaps colour the text red, and place it where you'd like the message to appear.

Normally this attribute won't have any content, so will be invisible.

On your record form, you could put code in the After Delete (don't know whether in After Delete or After Execute Delete; one day I'll understand the difference!): it would need to add the parameter '?message=You have deleted 1 row" to the URL of the return page. That should then be displayed by the attribute.

Just a thought - there are better ways I'm sure.
