I'm using the database driven menu system, with the same header and menu reference on every page. Depending on what page in my site I'm on, the same dropdown menus can be different widths. This bothers the users. I'm not seeing anything different on the pages.
Any suggestions?

Are the people that see the varied width using a different browser than you? Or perhaps it is a difference in screen size. Getting the users to send you a screenshot might help you figure this out.

it is within the same user session
on different pages. I can reproduce it myself. it doesn't seem to be browser specific.
