My wish is simple, that before you release your products you take an extra step which to date (and I've been a customer since 2001) you have never taken. Or perhaps it's your policy to leave solutions not working.
Have a junior resource try to implement the product in each language and in a stand alone pc, just like we will do as soon as you release it and shake down everything that is not right. Either document the problems so that we don't waste your support people's time with something we can read, or waste our time fixing them ourselves.
Many of the problems are things left in the code because it was last compiled in certain language that if you are going to compile it in the same language it will not have a problem. However, if you compile it in another language all the hard code left in programs are going to cause a problem. Or when creating what little documentation you do decide to supply, have that resource follow the directions and see if they end up with a working copy of the solution. If not, please rewrite what was necessary for them to get one working.
This one little step will not bring you to your knees and I swear will save support resources and our patience. We obviously like your products, but why must we fight each other when sharing solutions which are supposed to work.
