I have a problem and I am not a very good programmer

I have a table with the following fields

listID
ItemParentID
ItemChildID
ItemOrder
ListOwner
Sent
Available

The table is a shopping list but I only want to set the AVAILABLE field to 'YEs' for a record if a related record has had the SENT field set to "YES"

Here is an example. I rent videos in parts. I only want to have the part 3 available of video1 if part 2 has been sent to the customer already. I do not want to send part 3 if the customer has not had part 2. Likewise to send part 2 , part 1 must have been sent.

Please can you help me. I have tried to do this using ASP and MSaccess queries but to no avail.

I am using CSS4 and msaccess.

I am sorry, but the information that you have provided does not compute at all.
What exactly is it that you are wanting to do.
Try writing it out a little better than you have done in your first attempt.

Yes, we need more information.

Give us a sample of a record. What do listID, ItemParentID, etc. represent?
