Hi
I am very familiar with CCS and the PHP environment.
I would like to learn a little about how to use CCS with java.
I am new to java as a language for web development.
My first question is how do I get CCS and JSP to work on my local server.
I currently have XAMPP installed
Thanks for the help
John

Hi John
I Use Java 1.6, apache Tomcat 6.0.18, Oracle XE on Windows 2003 Server.
I have not proven to use Java and PHP simultaneously in an Apache2.
I can guide you in:
- Download and Install Java .
- Download and Install Apache Tomcat 6.
- Use You Database.
Create you first Proyect in CCS 3 or 4.
Is this what you need? .
Do you know Spanish Language?.
It would be important that the Company CCS, provide a space where We can go up our Tutoriales and to share what we know.
Regards.
Sergio.

Hi Sergio
Thanks for the reply
I got CCS to work locally. Found a bug in CCS. If I select a template folder the generasted code fails. But after messing with that for a day, I got CCS working locally.
Now when I publish it to my host. The page fails with and 500 error complaining about ccstabs not found.
Any Ideas
John

Hi John,
We go for part :
You Work with Apache Tomcat or Apache2?
If you work with Apache2 (only), I don't have Experience, I cannot help! ! !
I read that you should configure some servlet to use Apache2+JSP. (2 Web Server in 1), a lot of experience is needed.
I use this way :
1) I have installed an Apache2 that listens in port 80 for PHP (I Use XAMPP) and. . .
2) An Apache Tomcat 6.0.18 that listens in the port 8080 for JSP.
(2 Web Server)
I think that if you are learning, it should use for separate Apache2 and Apache tomcat, as Me I use.
When you have work experience for separate, can unify.
Regards.
Sergio.
