I have a drop down list which is binded to a database column. When the page loads, the drop down always has the value with ID = 1 selected. I have a Select Value (Selected = Yes) configured for the drop down, but it is not selected by default on live page. Any idea what is wrong?

Try on testing server. Live page not always get 100%

Try in the default value for the control whatever the default bound value in the table is. Also try putting that value in "". for example "2" if the is the bound value in tha table you want to display.
I think if you just put Yes it will be interpreted as 1 or maybe 0
