Let's see if there's a solution for this one with ASP 3.0. (I know I can do this with .NET, but I don't want to use .NET)
OK, when I do a search or execute a query, and the server return the results (a BUNCH of records), I need to keep filtering that same recordset by selecting from entries in that recordset. For example:
I have the following returned records:
EMPID; QTY; PRICE; SALE
1234; 3; $2.20; $6.60
3425; 1; $5.00; $5.00
1234; 2; $2.00; $4.00
I need a listbox with the different EMPIDs, and when I select an EMPID from that lb, then return only the records matching that EMPID. Again, there are A LOT of records returned and I don't want to query again the DB, since it may take long.
Does paging the recordset (or something similar) could work?
