I'm trying to use a Directory and link it to records in a Grid. My directory is named Categories, and the Grid is associated with a Policies table. PolicyID is the common field used in the join. The "Where" statement is Policies.PolicyID = '{PolicyID}' . The Directory seems to work fine, but the Grid shows all records in the table as soon as the page is opened. Then, when I select a subcategory that should display policy records (they are in the table), I get an error stating: "The value in field urlPolicyID is not valid. Use the following format: ."
I'm beating my head against the wall. Can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this?
Thanks,
Dave

I figured it out. I was trying to use the Directory object with text-type key fields. It appears that the code is setup to only work with intergers. I changed things around to use interger fields for the parent/child relationships and it works now.
It would be nice if CSS stated this requirement in the documentation...
