I have a project that a CCS consultant friend has been working on for me but he has fallen off the face of the earth and I haven't been able to contact him for almost a month. I have all of the files including the database except for the CCS and CCP files.
Is it possible for an experienced CCS person, which I am not, to reverse engineer this project so as to create the necessary files for immediate and future modification? Need to get the project up and running for my client ASAP. I am in panic mode !
If so and/or interested, please contact me via this thread or my e-mail (chip@pwddesign.com).
Thanks
Chip

Everything is doable.
It is always a matter of: Time - Money - Quality triangle
Seriously:
Personally I don't have time, but it would help other developers if you post:
- Target language or pages extension (asp, aspx, php, etc.)
- Number of pages
- Backend (database)
- Nature of application
- Desirable completion date:
- for first edition (working application, but have errors)
- for final edition (all known errors have been fixed)
- Financial damage you can accept for this work.

Thanks Vasiliy, totally forgot about the important things. So here's the particulars;
Project is in PHP
pages = 20 or so I think
Using MySQL database
Used for data input / collection
Completion date is ASAP, should of had it down last month
I am a one man shop/new home business without corporate backing
This is a web based data collection project for a QA/QI company. Company auditors log in via a website (the project) and enter multiple data elements for each item being audited. This project is an updated version of the exsisting web site in use now which I developed two years ago.
Hope this sheds some more light on my problem at hand.
Thanks

Thanks everyone for your interest in my project. I have found someone to help me out. Hopefully I will have new projects to develop in the near future.

Just want to let everyone who reads this thread know that my trust in the CCS professional programming community has been severely damaged. A forum member and business owner who's CCS based software is being advertised on Yes Software's site basically hung me out to dry for two months, won't return my phone calls nor return my deposit. I was probably a little nieve and too trusting, my bad!

I hope you're not referring to Walter Kempees, who has sadly passed away, and is sorely missed by many at the CCS forums...

I certainly did not. Walter had helped me out a couple of times. An awesome gentleman! He will be sadly missed by all on this forum.
