I want to migrate my application from CC3 to CCS4. I've done the following:
+ Convert all files from CCS3 to CCS4
+ Do not let CCS modify HTML IDs
+ Regenerate all the code and publish de project.
No problems so far

After that when I change something in one of the pages of the project, I want to CCS
regenerate HTML IDs, make the appropiate changes to ensure page works OK with HTML ID
changes and then publish.

But how can make CCS regenerate IDs AFTER i already convert the project?

Thanks, Andres Rormoser

Hi Opers

If I could also ask a question.

I have used the HTML ID tag in CCS3 quiet a bit for Ajax and Javascript work. I know with CCS4 it will put in the HTML ID inpreparation to using things like the update panel.

If during the conversion it finds a HTML element thjat has the ID tag set - does it rename it or leave it as is.

Many thanks

Dave

Hi dave

mate i had the same problem when i moved from ccs 3 to 4. it did not change the name of the ID, i had to go thru the code manually. altho maybe Yes might have taken this into consideration in their 4.1 and 4.2 releases.
